Wood Floor with Water Damage in New Haven Gets New Life

Because the nature of wood is to absorb moisture, the reaction of the floor may look disheartening with the buckling and warping of the wood floor boards. Using specialized equipment such as drying mats to force air into the wood, worked on this hardwood flooring. The water loss affected the walls and required controlled demolition actions to open them up for complete drying including removal of the window frames and wainscotting. The After Photo shows the room after water loss mitigation with flattened floor boards and walls prepped and ready for reconstruction.
